Since 2009, we have reorganised our product offering with the following objectives:
- Stop the manufacturing of non-profitable low-end products
- Focus on a selection of high-end higher margin niche segments where Schappe can leverage its technical edge.
Schappe acts as a value-added developer of solutions tailored to specific client’s product requirements.
This resulted in the current offering organised in 4 main product ranges:
- Yarns for PPE: yarns with characteristics of cut resistance and heat resistance.
Industrial yarns, supporting high-strength, fire resistant, antistatic used as part of sealing, reinforcement and isolation applications. - Composites, of which Carbon/Carbon and TPFL® products, characterised by their abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, lightness, recyclability, shape complexity and supporting series production.
- Textile Sewing Threads and Yarns designed for luxury clothing, gifting and luxury trimmings.
